At Javea Port Golf Society, competition is at the heart of what we do. Alongside our weekly tournaments across the Costa Blanca, four times a year we raise the stakes with our prestigious trophy events — occasions that bring out the best in our members and create memories that last long after the final putt drops.

🏆 The Francis McNeil Memorial Trophy

One of our most cherished competitions, the Francis McNeil Memorial Trophy is a highlight of the society calendar — a fitting tribute to a much-missed member. A true test of skill and nerve, this is a day when reputations are made and rivalries renewed. Will your name be next on the trophy?

✈️ The Away Days Trophies

Twice a year, the society packs its bags and heads out on tour — taking on some of the finest courses the region has to offer. Two trophies are up for grabs across the two away day events, making them among the most competitive and eagerly anticipated fixtures in the calendar. Great golf, great courses, great company.

🎖️ The Captain's Trophy

The Captain's Trophy is one of the most prestigious events in the society year. Played in honour of the current Captain, this is a day that carries real weight — every member wants their name associated with this one.

🏅 The Society Trophy — New for 2026!

Brand new for 2026, the Society Trophy is the most exciting addition to the Javea Port Golf Society calendar in recent memory. Introduced this year as our flagship event, it is set to become the most coveted prize in the society. Only one player can claim the honour of being the inaugural winner — who will it be? 🏆 Guardian of the Silverware

Our trophies are in very safe hands. William Marshall takes care of everything — from safekeeping between events to ensuring every winner's name is properly plated and proudly displayed. Without William, there would be no silverware to fight for. The society owes him a great deal and we are enormously grateful for everything he does behind the scenes to keep our traditions alive.
