Little History of Jávea Port Golf Society

Jávea Port Golf Society was founded in 2012 in the best possible way, by a few golfers enjoying some beers and tapas and deciding it would be a good idea to start playing golf together on a regular basis.

From those informal beginnings, the Society gradually grew into a friendly and welcoming group for golfers living in and around Jávea, as well as visitors to the Costa Blanca.

The idea was simple: enjoy good golf, good company and a bit of friendly competition. More than a decade later, that remains at the heart of the Society.

We play regularly at a variety of courses across the Costa Blanca, giving members the opportunity to enjoy different venues while benefiting from the advantages and discounts that come with playing as part of an organised society.

Over the years, the Society has welcomed golfers of all abilities and nationalities. Some members take the competition seriously, others are there mainly for the social side, but everyone shares an enjoyment of the game and the friendships that come with it.

Regular competitions, away days and social events have become an important part of the Society calendar, and new members are always made welcome.

From a few beers and tapas in 2012 to the thriving golf society it is today, Jávea Port Golf Society has always been about one thing above all else: enjoying the game with good people.

Good golf, good company and plenty of laughs along the way.
